Deb, Roy, Jeff, Jere and Kristen.
We ordered three kinds of stromboli (ham & cheese, barbecued chicken, and cheese steak), plus mozzarella cheese steaks from Two Cousins Restaurant. I served the salad and cheese steaks while the stromboli stayed hot in the oven.
Cerwin, Barb, Deb and Roy.
Barb opened her card from us. A card that sang Happy Birthday and displayed fireworks when she blew out the candle.
Deb took these pictures of Cerwin as he opened a birthday card from her and Roy, also a card that sang Happy Birthday. I suggested that he blow out the candle. To Deb’s surprise, it also produced fireworks.
The birthday cake.
Cake & Cup did a great job of decorating the cake after I gave them an idea of what I wanted. It was a white cake with raspberry filling.
Cerwin and Barb preparing to blow out their candles.
After lunch, I noticed these three children of ours huddled in a corner. When I picked up my camera, they began to turn their backs to me.
I do wonder what they were discussing. Probably what they can do to get mom in trouble again. 🙂
Deb, Jeff and Jere.
We missed our Maine “kids” Diane and her husband, Mark.
A happy birthday celebration! That’s a great portrait of Cerwin!
Those good photos of Cerwin were taken by Deb.
Congratulations! Cerwin. When I Iooked at the picture of your grown children, I thought, “Are they that old.” Then, I remembered I’m 73. Sigh! 20212 Honda Accord passed inspection today! So grateful! Will use the
train for trip to Lancaster and the Honda for driving around Pittsburgh.
Time is an amazing thing – it seems to add age to each of us. 🙂 Glad your Honda passed inspection.
