New Living Translation
~~~
We traveled past this field of sheep the other week on the way home from the community of Lampeter. The words from Psalm 23 were in the background of my mind as I got out of the car, watched and took pictures.
The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need.
He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams.
He renews my strength.
He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name.
Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.
You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies.
You honor me by anointing my head with oil.
My cup overflows with blessings.
Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever.
Oh that’s beautiful! Thank you, thank you, Doris Jean and please convey to Cerwin that a bunch of people appreciate his patients in stopping so you can take pictures😃😃
He didn’t always enjoy stopping for pictures, but since we are both retired, he finds it interesting, and sometimes asks if I want to stop for a photo or may even point out something I missed. I love this retirement “thing.”
No, not his patients; his patience😂
Beautiful photos! It was so much fun to stop and watch the sheep – and I appreciated the patience of the driver waiting for us to get back in the car! 🙂
It was fun having you along.
