We didn’t know what to expect with the predicted snowfall because we were kind of at a dividing line between light snow and heavy snow.
I took the first two pictures about 5:42 am, when the snow was beginning to warn us that we were going to get more than a dusting.
By 7:45 AM we had about 5 inches of heavy snow which created a beautiful landscape.
When it stopped there was close to 6 inches on our patio table.
I was amused to see a robin on the block of suet just outside our kitchen window. I guess it was hungry and figured it would not find worms today.
We were expecting Rohrer Brothers to arrive about 11:00 am to begin updating our bathroom so Cerwin went out about 10:00 am to open our driveway for their vehicles. They planned to be here between 7:30 and 8:00 am but were delayed by the snow.
Dustin’s arrival was timed perfectly as he followed a snowplow to our place. Our road had not been plowed before that. By this time the temperature was above freezing, so melting happened quickly on the plowed driveway and road.
They are going to transform our bathroom from a blue 1967 bathtub to a white walk-in shower. There will be several other changes as well.
The bathroom before-and-after-pictures will be in a future post. The guys will be here for several days.
It would snow hard when you have work done on your house!!! The second, third, and 4th shots in this series would make wonderful Christmas cards! Oh, that poor robin — I’m glad you had some food out for him!
Thankfully we are not in a hurry to have the bathroom transformed. They actually got a lot of stuff done today.
