That looks to be a very full creek == is it all rain water, or is there some snow melt in it as well? We almost never see that much water in our creeks, which are usually completely dry!
I’m sorry, Doris — I don’t know why the above response shows as from anonymous — must be some sort of glitch in WP! It is actually from Janet (slmret). I see that you tried to reply to it, but I didn’t receive the response!
It’s winter everywhere – we are havig heavy wind here today, and more rain predicted for later in the week. I think the “anonymous” has something to with forcing people to log in to have comments recorded — I solved it by hitting the “W” Button at the end of the comment before “Reply., even though it says log in is optional.
Well there’s your reply! I am reading that you are in the beginning stages of a pretty cold, rough storm — perhaps the precipitation we had last week has moved to your area now!
We had about 2 inches of snow. It caused a few accidents, but we were content to stay at home and watch it. We are supposed to have another cold, wet week ahead and maybe some snow flurries. Our daughter in Maine is having a lot more snow. I think they are at 6″ at this point and it is still snowing.

That is from rain. We had our first snow yesterday, so the creek is probably highter today.

A few people are telling me that their replies are showing anonymous when their name used to be included. I don’t understand that stuff. 🙂
