We always try to go to this show – mainly because it is organized by our niece Chelsey and friends and some of her sisters and nieces are vendors – plus, her parents also help.
My friend Stephanie Nolt, her daughter and granddaughter were leaving as I took the first picture. We talked a bit, then I asked if they would pose for me.
Our first stop was our great-niece Ashlea’s “Cocoa Bomb” stand. We enjoy these on cold winter days. One cocoa bomb makes 1 large cup of hot cocoa. I always choose a mint. Cerwin has a variety of tastes. This year he chose a cookies and cream.
In this shot she is talking to her aunt Chelsey.
Our second stop was for lunch at our niece Karen’s and her daughter-in-law Stephanie’s DLT Farms stand. I had a cup of vegetable soup and Cerwin got a cheeseburger.
The soup was so delicious that I got the recipe and have a batch simmering as I write this. My sister Nancy and her husband Marlin are behind the table – serving and at the cash box. DLT had beef sticks on the right – plus a variety of samples.
The next stop was our niece Amy’s Mixing Bowl for some things to satisfy our sweet tooth.
Amy’s daughter Heidi was at the stand when we made our purchases.
Then we walked around the hall and looked at all the great items for sale.
The White Magnolia Coffee Co. was busy the entire time we were there.
I do enjoy this craft show – especially the food.
My goodness, it is holiday boutique season already! That looks like a great boutique, and the foods sound delicious!
I thought that too, but Christmas shopping is going strong in our area.
