It happens every fall.
With about 70 trees in our woodlot, it can’t be avoided.
In a strange way, I find them pretty.
They are also a reminder that winter is coming.

After Cerwin takes his little leaf eater machine around the woodlot, does it come out clean, or is there always a carpet of leaves under the trees through the winter?
It is clean for only a few hours until the leaves are all down.
