Coming upon an Amish carriage on solid, double yellow lines is a good reminder to slow down a bit.

On the way home, we stopped at a self-serve Amish roadside stand to buy an apple pie. They count on our honesty to pay for it before we leave, but it felt like their horse was keeping an eye on us. 🙂

We certainly appreciate the Amish who live in our valley.
