I went for a walk the other day to show you what it looks like when looking at our house on a late summer day. Our house is on the right BEHIND all the corn. 🙂

Along the road, the corn looks tall and healthy.

Some of the farmers are saying the ears have not filled out as well as usual because of the dry summer.

The rain has been spotty, so some corn is better than others – depending on when the field got rain.

By the way – for the non-farmers – field corn is different from sweet corn. Field corn is for animals and sweet corn is for people. 🙂
