Sunday Morning, June 25

It was the kind of morning that drew me outside. The sky above me was bright blue with just a few clouds.
We don’t see the sunrise in summer, because it comes up behind our woodlot.
As I moved toward the southeast, there was a light haze across the valley.
I zoomed in on St. Paul Lutheran Church – to the left of the taller powerline tower.
The homestead
Next I zoomed in on Jerusalem Church – just beyond the homestead buildings.
The third church we can see from our house is Ruhl’s United Methodist – which is farther away, but because it is on a high point of the county, it is visible to us.
Then, just like that a hazy fog began overtaking my view.
The fog lifted before we went to church, but it was one of those Sundays when I thought, “This is a perfect summer morning.”
That really was a perfect summer morning — I love that the fog came in suddenly and left as suddenly!
It just felt so perfect and peaceful.
