With my sister Nancy and sisters-in-law Dot and Brenda

This was a 70th birthday gift to Nancy from Dot, Brenda and me.

Dot is the one who had been here before and suggested this location – which the rest of us had never heard about. We love new places, so immediately liked the idea.

We followed Dot down the steps to the restaurant.

It was a quaint, delightful place.

We each had a different teacup.

We each chose a pot, because it keeps the tea hot and gave us more tea.

The meal was beautifully presented and delicious. Nancy, Dot and I each had a Turkey & Brie sandwich with cranberry cream cheese on a ciabatta roll. Brenda chose a chicken salad sandwich.

We had a great time visiting and getting caught up on each other’s lives.

It is fun to adjust to life now that most of us are retired – with more free time.

It was unanimous that we go out like this for each of our birthdays.

Our birthdays spread out nicely across the year: February, April, June and October.
