I took a series of pictures during the growth of our yucca plant and flowers.
This was back on May 25 when the four tall stalks looked like very large asparagus.
June 5 after the stalks were separating into flower stems.
By June 10 Cerwin needed to wrap ropes around them so they would stay upright.
A close up on June 10 shows the stalks opening into even more flowers stems.
By June 15 there were some beautiful flowers on two stalks.
June 18 – this past Sunday – the four stalks were in full bloom.
This last picture shows that there are still a few buds – meaning it will be blooming for another week or two.
That’s a great series of photos — I didn’t realize they open so quickly!
It was fun to watch them open into flowers.
