I enjoy seeing brand new corn rows in the fields next to us. This is the field below our house.
This is the field across the road from the previous one.
New tender corn stalks are a great reminder of new life.

I enjoy seeing brand new corn rows in the fields next to us. This is the field below our house.
This is the field across the road from the previous one.
New tender corn stalks are a great reminder of new life.
I am surprised at t he amount of space between the rows (remember — I’m a city girl!). Does it really all fill in as the corn grows, or is this a lightly sown field?
It will fill in and it is spaced for the harvester in the fall.
I’m anazed — I never knew the rows are planted that far apart, just to fill in to those very green fields!
