We arrived early (at the invitation of Jere and Kristen) to help set up Warehouse 54 at Manheim Brethren in Christ Church. Setup was already in progress when we got there at 3:45.

The flowers were arranged by an Amish neighbor.
Bridget (dating Josh) and Yeira (dating Jared) making decisions on where to place the framed pictures of Jana – that went on every table.

A banner made by Jere and Kristen. “JRae” is a nickname we all use for Jana.
Cerwin and I were in charge of putting out the cupcakes and candy.
You can tell by seeing Cerwin in the background that we were finished. 🙂
Cupcakes by our niece Amy
Due to great organization by Jere and Kristen we were prepared for guests about an hour early.
There was even time to round up their entire family.
Jere, Kristen, Josh, Bridget, Jana, Austin, Ian, Yeira, Jared and Jesse. I didn’t realize until I listed the names that they lined up in order of age. (Josh, Jana, Ian, Jared, Jesse)
Guests arrived promptly and enjoyed the delicious Taco Salad Buffet.
Our granddaughter Gloria and Cerwin
Jere and Kristen asked me to get lots of pictures in case they missed something due to being busy with greeting guests and keeping after the food.
The guests included family, neighbors, friends, high school and college friends and teachers, childhood friends, Fox Meadows co-workers (where she worked most of her teenage years and into college days), and current coworkers at Advanced Counseling and Testing Solutions, LLC.
I can “feel” the delightful evening when I look at these pictures.
Austin’s and Jana’s parents
I captured Kristen and Jana posing with one of the main flower bouquets.
The gift table with her gown hanging in the background. There were also two autograph scrapbook pages.
This photo captures the atmosphere of the room and the delightful evening. Great memories!
Sorry I missed this one! Congratulations to Jana — Kristen and Jere and you and Cerwin definitely have a daughter/granddaughter to be proud of. It’s been a long haul for Jana — it’s delightful to see her doing so well!
We are glad for her that she can now move on to her dream career of counseling.
