This time we went to a restaurant that was chosen by Elvin and Pat.

Cerwin, Mel, Elvin (brother), Pat, Velda (sister) and Me.

Cerwin called their youngest sister Doris in Minnesota so we could all sing Happy Birthday to her. She appreciated that we were celebrating her birthday without her. 🙂

Mel’s meal was the most unusual. We called it a haystack (layered mashed potatoes, hamburger, gravy and deep-fried onions.

Cerwin got a cheese steak and fries

Several of us got chicken alfredo. This was a small!

I brought enough home for two more meals.

We decided that we like this kind of get-together and will schedule a restaurant meal every two months. We are all retired or semi-retired. How did that happen? It doesn’t seem that long ago that we were all young people. :)
