We drive by the Homestead Pond quite often and keep watching for it to be filled full enough to overflow the drainpipe.

It’s almost there.

Larry (a Homestead owner) told us that he plans to add an extension to the drainpipe, so the pond adds even more water.

That evening I noticed a beautiful sunset and went outside to take a few pictures.

As I walked back to the house, I saw the waxing gibbous (almost full moon) in the eastern sky.
