Abby our granddaughter and Nate’s wife, wrote this birthday message on the walk that enters their farmhouse.

Following a delicious supper – steak on the grill, mac and cheese, green beans, deep fried cauliflower and pickles – Anthony and Abby lit the candles. It looks like there might have been 35 to match his age. That’s Jasmine on the right.

Singing Happy Birthday. I think we must have been singing the beginning of the word happy when I took this picture because everyone has their mouths open. 🙂 If you notice Nate’s youngest brother Ben is holding up a cell phone, that’s because we were facetiming with their oldest sister Melita. Around the table: Nate, Abby, Luanne and Dale (Nate’s parents), Sam and his girlfriend, Ben (his wife and daughter are hidden behind Adriel), Cerwin and Natalie. Sam, Ben and Ariel are Nate’s siblings.

Melita lives in a western state. She serves with several ministries: Solid Rock Outdoor Ministries, WY, Logos Wilderness Therapy, CO, Juniper Canyon Recovery Center, UT and Legacy Outdoor Adventures, UT.

Nate tried to blow out the candles in one breath – left to right across the cake – and succeeded.

This was the beginning of a week of seeing several grandchildren and great grandchildren. That makes a grandma and great grandma very happy.
