Though I officially retired from Transport for Christ/TFC Global earlier this year, I immediately went into a busy schedule as I delved into the history of our church’s congregation for the celebration on August 20 & 21. Now that the celebration is over, I can focus on things I planned to do in retirement – like working on more counted cross-stitch projects.
As you can see by the stitching on the left, I am more than half finished with this raccoon project for our daughter Deb. I started it more than a year ago, then placed it to the side as I worked on other things.
After finishing each of our 17 grandchildren’s pictures, I asked Deb if she would like me to stitch any of her unique animals. This is the picture she sent me. She and Roy don’t have any children, but they certainly have a quiver full of animals that have come into their lives.
Love it!
Thanks!
That’s wonderful — you do such beautiful work!
Thanks.
What a creative idea! I love it! Is that one of hers who has a name?
Her animals each have names. š
