4:26 PM. Turning the wheat straw to help it dry before baling. I expect this will be used for bedding for their animals.
Sunday Evening, July 10 – 8:13 PM – I walked across the road to get a few closeup pictures.
Monday Evening, July 11 – 3:26 PM – I missed seeing them bale the straw but did get to watch them pick up a few bales.
Wednesday morning, July 13 – 9:02 AM – he was putting manure on the field.
By Thursday Morning, July 14 – 9:54 AM – he was planting something. We expect it is corn but will tell you when it starts growing.

Farmers are always busy preparing the ground and growing crops. What they put into our soil is different than what may be needed in California.
I think much of our produce is exported to other states or countries. I was thinking, too, about the fact that I live in a pretty urban area, and have to travel some distance to see any agricultural activity.
