Photos from Three Different Days

I can usually tell when there’s a mockingbird in the area because of their loud song – and not always the same song. They can mock other birds and sounds.
They sometimes sing at me from high in a tree or on telephone or electric wires.
They are regulars at our bird-feeding area. By these four pictures, they enjoy suet.
We have one that likes to sing at night — specifically between midnight and three or four a.m. 🙂 I enjoy his/her serenades. I just wonder how they determine which call they are going to mimic next. 🙂
Last year just before my surgery, I had a mockingbird singing all night — luckily, it stopped a couple of days before my surgery!
I didn’t hear it at all this year!
