As we walked to our table, we were surprised to meet Alma Shirk and her family. Alma and I have been Facebook friends for many years and live in the same area, so meeting each other was inevitable. 🙂

I needed a new “refrigerator” photo of Yeira and Jared.

We had a great evening as we enjoyed delicious food at Applebee’s – Jared’s choice for a meal. Yeira gets to choose the next restaurant. Their birthdays are only 16 days apart.

I recently joined a group on Facebook called View from My Window which I am thoroughly enjoying so was especially aware of the view from our restaurant window.

We weren’t sure if we were still hungry, but these donuts with hot fudge or caramel dip were enticing. Oh, my! They and the dips were warm.
