I am doing this post to advertise for Hearth and Harrow. If you live near us, this is a nice quiet restaurant in Pleasant View Communities and open to the public.

On this evening we were meeting friends (3 other couples) and using this private dining room. It is perfect for 8-10 people and doesn’t cost anything to reserve or to just use if nobody has it reserved.

I reserved it ahead of time because I had scheduled an evening to visit with our friends, Mark, Marcy, Gene, Cookie, Gerald and Lois. Gene was not feeling well, so there were only 7 of us.

We met at 4 PM and left about 7 PM – staying in this room for the first two hours – then the ladies moved to the sitting area just outside this room.

I recommend it for a nice quiet visit with friends. You order at the counter – just like if you are sitting in the cafe area. The food is delivered to your table.

God gave us a beautiful sunset to close this delightful evening.

It was the best kind of evening – catching up with friends – some we don’t see very often but have known since childhood. Mark always likes to give me a hug and kiss to remind me of the time (he claims) that I kissed him behind the old wood stove in the one room school we attended in first, second and third grade. 🙂
