If you can see them at the other end of the table, Jere and Kristen were beaming because each of their children were under one roof. That doesn’t happen very often with their busy crew.

We enjoyed a lunchtime breakfast, which was Josh’s choice for a birthday meal. There were waffles, egg casserole, breakfast pizza, French toast casserole and all the fixings. I probably missed a few things. 🙂

Everything was delicious.

A birthday cookie. Josh’s birthday was actually February 8 – the same day as mine – but this was the first free weekend they had to make the trip from Philadelphia.

He got to take the cookie home, while we ate a chocolate chip bar and ice cream. The ice cream was from Fox Meadows, of course. Jana, Jared, Yeira and Jesse work at Fox Meadows Creamery.

We have enjoyed getting to know Jared’s friend, Yeira, in the past few months and I needed a picture for our refrigerator.
