Birthday Cards and Gifts
~~~
Because it was fun to receive a variety of cards and gifts for my birthday, I wanted to honor those who shared their love with me.
One of my first gifts was these flowers from our daughter Deb’s mother-in-law, Barb, when we had lunch at Olive Garden on my birthday.
A plant from Deb’s friend Bernae – also at our birthday lunch. The meal was also a gift from Deb and Bernae.
Jere and Kristen gave me a delicious birthday meal that evening.
I received several beautiful cards in the mail with a few delivered personally. The gift card was from our granddaughter Gloria and her boyfriend, Zach. The gift card and a container of tiny cupcakes were on the counter when we got home from Jere and Kristen’s. We ate the cupcakes before I remembered to get a photo.
Delicious-looking canned items from our Maine daughter, Diane.
Cookies (that were already in the freezer when I took this picture) from our daughter Deb.
More cards. A tiny magnet and hummingbird from my new friend Chris – brought to CR Lapps when we had supper together. That meal was my birthday gift from Cerwin.
I forgot to take a picture of the 3 or 4 chocolate Necco wafers that were given to me by our son Jeff during his birthday visit. You may think it to be a small gift, but they were chosen just for me and given with great love and a sweet kiss. đ
I received lots of e-cards, messages and phone calls from children, grandchildren and friends – and there were more than two hundred birthday comments and likes on Facebook.
Thank you everyone. I felt loved.
