Before breakfast they wanted a picture to officially announce the upcoming birth of Heze and Kayla’s baby.
To announce their pregnancy, Heze and Kayla sent this onesie to Mark and Diane a few weeks ago.
For us, they announced it shortly arriving by showing us a picture of the sonogram. π
The due date is mid-May. It will be the 6th grandchild for Mark and Diane. After they went back to Tennessee, Heze and Kayla learned they are having a boy. That means Mark and Diane will then have 3 grandsons and 3 granddaughters.
We have another great grandbaby due about the same time (Nate and Lauree). The due dates are two days apart. We currently have 4 great grandsons (Anthony, Nicodemus, Bennett and Drake) and 5 great granddaughters (Tucker, Jade, Jasmine, Nzeba and Natalie). By mid-June we will have 12 great grandchildren. π
We have “triplet” grandchildren who are seven weeks apart (Josh, Heze and Jenna). We will now have “triplet” great grandchildren who (Lord willing) will be about 4 weeks apart.
Jere stopped in for something as we were preparing to sit down for breakfast. Heze tried to flaunt his shirt, but Jere didn’t notice. Heze and Kayla wanted to tell his siblings first, so didn’t point out the words on the shirt. Jere had to learn about it a few hours later. π
After breakfast, the Myers went to Nate and Abby’s for their Christmas celebration. Hannah was staying there, and Lydia and Josiah came from their respective homes in the area. For the evening they went to Hanover to visit Mark’s mother.
Since it was a quiet day at our place, we went for a few more groceries and prepared the garage for lunch the next day.
Because of schedules and logistics, we are having two Christmas celebrations this year.
What an exciting Christmas season this will be!
I know. With two of ours, then my family and Cerwin’s family. It will go on until mid-January. π
