It’s time for Cerwin to put his trusty redneck leaf catcher to work.
I post this every year because I am so proud of his creativity in building it on an old trailer, then figuring out the hose combination.
If I was responsible for picking up leaves, I would have to hire someone – or maybe talk to one of our sons who have inherited their father’s wisdom and creativity. 🙂
I remember when we used to wait for most of the leaves to fall then invite or “trick” children or grandchildren to come help us. Tricking usually involved food, an overnight visit, or a trip to a restaurant. They would pull the green tarp back to the woods, empty the leaves and do it all over again. 🙂 The grandchildren with Cerwin are Jenna, Nate and Gloria who are now all grown up.
I think most of our Pennsylvania children and grandchildren have helped with this job in one way or another.
I expect they are all pleased that Cerwin designed his redneck leaf catcher. 🙂
