I think my great great grandpa Hershey and our family members who lived on the homestead after him (where I grew up) would enjoy watching the Amish buggies traveling over the roads of our valley as much as I do.
We live deep in the country and most Amish in our valley live west of us, so we don’t have the privilege of seeing them as often as those on the road next to us.
it is a special treat to hear the clop clop of the horse’s hooves on a Sunday morning.
The end of our driveway.
Going home after church.
Amish are brilliant, talented and peace-loving people and make wonderful neighbors.
Every once in a while I meet one who lives in our area and says they go by our house when there is church our immediate neighborhood.
My favorite place on earth.
I enjoy your Amish posts. The various carriages/buggies are so interesting.
Thanks. I wish I could do more. 🙂
