Cerwin was determined to get a few things finished before winter – paint the two front doors and trim and the support section under our bay window, plus trim the redbud tree.
His first job was to sand the wood that needed to be painted. It was beginning to look shabby.
He chose a warm week and spent several days in getting the job finished. (He is retired and doesn’t have to get everything done in one day.) 🙂
Everything looks nice again.
Our oldest son Jeff was coming for lumber one Saturday morning, so Cerwin asked him to bring his long pole saw to take down a few branches on our redbud tree.
We find it good to make goals since we are in retirement mode so we get things done. Because there is no rush, it is easy to put things off until another day.
It’s looking very nice!
