A Foggy, Corn Harvest Kind of Day

Looking east through our woodlot.

It was the kind of morning that drew me outside. I love warm, foggy mornings.

The corn is still tall and soon ready for harvest.

By late morning I heard the sound of big equipment across the road.

This hasn’t affected the view from our house, because this field is across the road, but we do have a better view toward the west when we go to town.

The tractors and equipment were busy driving over the new silage in the trench – making sure there is little air/space in the new harvest of corn silage.

The tractors were also busy most – if not all – of the night.

I especially like this picture which also shows the steeple of Jerusalem Church in Penryn.

The Waxing Gibbous moon was looking pretty when I went to bed.

The guys were still busy driving over the trench the next morning.

I love this view when looking out our dining area window.
