Kristen called to ask if I had plans for lunch. I did not.

She was planning a picnic lunch for Jared and Jesse – the only two of their five children who were at home. Josh, Emily and Tucker live in Philadelphia, Austin and Jana live in Lancaster and Ian was wild hog hunting with Jere and Cerwin in Tennessee.

She promised a simple lunch of hot dogs, chips, sodas, macaroni salad.

Eventually Jared went to work at Fox Meadows Creamery and Jesse worked on a project for school while Kristen and I visited.
