Three deer ran across the road in front of us as we approached Walker, MN. They went so fast, I was only able to capture the last one, which appears to be a nice buck.
After a few times of driving in and out the dirt road that goes by Bob and Doris’ house, Cerwin thought we needed a car wash before going much farther.
That did a good job.
Bob and Doris gave us this CD pack to listen to while spending eight hours on the road to visit their youngest daughter and her family. It is filled with stories of the area over which we were traveling. Many towns we drove through were mentioned in this series. Quite interesting. We left it at Reuben and Judi’s to return to her parents.
We saw at least half-a-dozen crop dusters during our travels. This is the only one I was able to capture.
Bob gave us directions to Reuben and Judi’s house, which he promised would be more scenic than the way our GPS would have taken us. He was correct.
Construction equipment being transported on a barge.
Cerwin had to back up a few hundred feet so I could get this shot of a bald eagle – probably looking for breakfast.
More hills and bluffs
I love the beauty of the animals and farmland in Reuben and Judi’s area.
Approaching their house. We spent two nights here, so I will have more photos in my next post.
