If you are surprised to see Kayla and Heze at our house – we were too! They drove up from Tennessee to surprise us for Cerwin’s 80th birthday party.

They brought their own queen-sized air mattress and moved into our basement office. 🙂

As you know, Diane has been here (in our guest room) for several weeks. Mark flew into Harrisburg from Portland, Maine, to be part of the birthday party and to see Natalie, their new granddaughter.

These four were playing a gardening game that Diane taught me while she was here.

Four of Mark and Diane’s children were here for lunch – Josiah, Lydia, Abby (Nathanial, Anthony, Jasmine, Natalie) and Heze (Kayla). While some took naps or watched NASCAR on TV others played games in the garage.

When they were finished, we got the tables ready for the rest of our children and most of our grandchildren and great grandchildren who were coming for supper to celebrate Cerwin’s birthday.

Cerwin’s birthday was in April, but due to COVID regulations and the fact that Diane and Mark would be here it was planned for June 6.
