We have tulips everywhere this year – even in the woods area where we throw our yard trash.
“Bloom where you are planted” comes to mind when I see their beauty among the weeds and trash. They have no idea that they are not in the front yard where everyone sees them.
I brought four inside and placed them in a drinking glass so I can enjoy their beauty. This is what they looked like when I went to bed last night.
This morning they were straight and tall and beginning to open.
I find the orange one to be particularly pretty.
I would love if tulips would bloom in your flowerbeds all summer.
I love that so many tulips are blooming in among your yard trash! How resilient they are — and what a great metaphor!
Thanks. We are certainly enjoying them.
