As we approached our house, on the way home from church, I was almost surprised by the large, orange moon rising over the horizon.
By the time we got in the house, it was above the horizon, but still looking quite orange when I took this photo through our trees. It was full moon the night before, so it is now a waning gibbous.
It’s beautiful! Here they are telling us that the last full moon in March is called the Worm Moon, because this is the time of year when worms appear in the ground.
Well that makes sense. I found an earth worm the other day when working in a flower bed. 🙂
