Cerwin and I did not stay up until midnight on New Year’s Eve, but went to bed early and woke up early – long before the sun came up in the eastern sky on the first day of 2021.
A pretty sunrise on the first day of a new year gives me hope – even when things are far from settled in the world around us.
A new sunrise reminds me that God is always with me.
Later in the day we had a rainy/icy mixture that was also beautiful – to those who could stay inside – and was a great reminder that it is winter in Pennsylvania.
I am grateful for the variety God brings each day.
You have the most beautiful view of the sunrise! Thank you for sharing the beauty.
We do in winter and early spring. After while the sun will be rising behind our house and behind the woodlot.
