Purple

Interesting facts on why we sometimes see a purple sky.

A professor of meteorology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, explained that the sky turns purple because of extremely low atmospheric pressure.

Particles, or aerosols, scatter sunlight as it passes through the air, which in combination with the absorption of light by the ozone layer, gives sunrises and sunsets that purple tint.

Dust, pollution, water droplets and cloud formations can influence the colors of the sky.

The combination of pink and dark blue can make the sky appear a deep purple.
