I told Cerwin that I was going to do a final patio and porch cleanup for the summer before it gets cold.
This is what the porch looked like within five minutes of hosing down the porch, patio, and front of the house. At least it was clean. 🙂
The front of the house, especially under the roof, gets dirty at the end of summer – from bugs and spiders who hang out there because of the two exterior lights that are on at night. It is nice going into the winter with a clean house.
By the end of the day the lawn was covered with a blanket of leaves.
It is definitely fall at our house and my timing was good as the following week was cold and rainy.
That’s a lot of leaves blanketing your lawn. I hope the wind stopped and didn’t blow more leaves down! Our day has been quite normal today — roughly 75-80 degree temps, little wind, sunny with few wispy clouds. You’d never know that a week ago we were in the middle of a firestorm!
Glad your firestorm is over. We had wind and rain all weekend. Many of the fallen leaves blew to the neighbor’s field. 🙂
