Wednesday Morning, October 6
The squash field across the road from our house looked pretty in the morning fog.
It is easier to see the squash now that the stems and leaves are dying.
I am surprised they have not yet been harvested – but I expect the harvest will happen shortly.
There are even a few tattered blossoms.
Interesting that the field looks much more hilly than it did as it was being sown! It makes a lovely view in the fog, and the flower is really pretty!
There is a slight grade to the field, but maybe the angle of the photo makes is look like more of a hill. I see it every day, so don’t think about that. 🙂
