Friday Evening, September 25

Cerwin and I had a fun evening with Dustan, Jenna, Nate and Lauree to celebrate the ladies 2020 birthdays. They chose Tied House in Lititz. Our delicious entrees were things like Chili, Fried Chicken & Biscuits, Prime Ribeye and Specialty Salad with Chicken.

We made sure Cerwin sat across from Nate so he could hear about Nate’s recent archery elk hunt in Idaho. He and a few other guys lived on the mountain for a week and had a fantastic time. Nate was the only one to bag an Elk.

Our entrees were delicious – but dessert was way delicious! Lauree got a chocolate cupcake and ice cream.

Several got this apple with ice cream. The apple was cut in one continuous slice then dipped in funnel cake batter before being deep fried. It was a hit with everyone who got one or the rest of us who tasted someone’s. 🙂

This was an ice cream filled cookie – with crumbled pretzels. Pretzels are a “thing” in Lititz.

This was the evening sky as we headed home.

There is nothing on earth much better than hanging out with family. I loved catching up on their lives.
