Following a delicious supper, we celebrated five summer birthdays – featuring a cake for Jade.

Jade was rather serious while her two candles were lit.

Her face lit up when we began singing Happy Birthday.

She quickly became aware that she was being celebrated.

I needed a new picture of Jordan for our refrigerator and his birthday post (the next day).

I chose this one – mostly because of the background.

A new dolly will be helpful in preparing for the arrival of a new baby in their house – early next year. There was also a stroller that came with the doll.

While the others opened their gifts Grandma Chris read a book to baby Bennett.

The summer birthday people. Siblings: Jordan, Diana, and Nate – their brother-in-law Dustan and niece Jade.

Some of us were preparing to go home when Gloria and Zach arrived – after Gloria was finished at her pharmacy job.
