The heat was brutal to our stargazer lilies – then there was wind and rain – thus I am glad I took these pictures when they were pretty.
They were short-lived this year, but delightful.

How beautiful — what a shame that the weather was so brutal for them!
I was surprised at how quickly they were gone.
