I enjoyed watching this Carolina Wren on a rainy Sunday afternoon.
Wrens are fun to have in a feeding area.
I enjoy their song, watching them build nests and just generally being at our feeders.
They can be scrappy if another bird is in their territory.
We had an afternoon TFC Global Zoom meeting with the Truck Rally committee – concerning the change of plans this year since we cannot hold the Rally due to COVID-19.
We are going to have a drive-through chicken barbecue meal, that way something will be happening at the Lebanon Expo that day – June 27.
(Details coming in another day or two.)
An Amish neighbor was going home as I was cleaning up after supper.
I kept all three pictures for this post because I enjoyed seeing the different positions of the horse’s legs.
That little wren looks almost like a small pheasant! I was also going to comment on the wonderful silhouette of the horse with the different leg positions as it trotted along.
I always enjoy your comments. Wrens are fun – and I love to watch the horses and mules in our neighborhood.
Thank you, Doris — I always enjoy your posts — your country life is quite different than what I’m used to in this suburban area, and your photos are wonderful!!
