It was time for me to go somewhere again. đ I needed some birdseed and suet so called Agway to order both – paid over the phone – and picked it up at their dock. A friendly young man helped Cerwin put the 50 lb. bag of black oil sunflower seed and 12 suet packs in our trunk.
I woke up that day just wishing to go inside a grocery store again. I hadn’t done that since early March. I don’t like grocery shopping that much, but every now and then I like browsing and finding things for our pantry. The only thing I needed was an onion. đ But I did get a few other things – a sub and some fresh fruit.
Oh, that was delightful. I am okay now for awhile.
It was the first time I wore a face mask in public.
The reason we went toward Ephrata was that our real need was a box of Fox Meadows Madagascan Vanilla ice cream. đ
I ordered and paid online, so all we had to do was call the number on the sign in front of our parking spot.
The ice cream was delivered to our car.
Because I stay at home most days I almost forget how much our world has changed until I go out on an adventure like this.
It was good to see trees and landscapes other than ours.
