Our brother-in-law Marlin, called to ask if we had any trash that he can take to the landfill. They had a few things to get rid of because their house and property are up for sale in a few weeks – and they had room for more.
Cerwin replied that we didn’t have anything. I quickly changed his mind.
One of our differences is that Cerwin doesn’t like to get rid of anything. I don’t like to keep anything we aren’t using – especially junk that is placed behind the shed. 🙂
Look what he found or what I convinced him to put out for Marlin! By-the-way – we are keeping the wheelbarrow and wagon. 🙂
Marlin and his son-in-law Jared stopped in to pick it up.
Oh, that felt so good to get rid of that stuff.
Thanks for calling, Marlin.
Sounds like Bob and me. Bob is the keeper and I am the get rid of. I am trying to talk Bob into some thing also. so I had a big smile on my face as I read this.
Imagine my delight when I heard of the idea of getting rid of one thing a day during lent. 🙂 I liked that idea and got a lot of things ready for the re-use-it shop.
On of Kevin’s favorite childhood memories is a garage clean out, where Clair was throwing things away while I was carrying them back into the garage.
Anne, I wonder if all my siblings like to get rid of things. 🙂
