I had never been to Tiny Town and looked forward to going here with our great granddaughter Jade, her momma Jenna and grandma Chris. After getting to the parking lot where our GPS directed me, I was glad to see this sign – meaning I had arrived at the correct spot on the outskirts of Lancaster.
I arrived early to check us in, then got a cup of coffee while waiting for the other three.
What a cute place. This day was to celebrate Jade’s 1st birthday in 2019. Jenna and I have been working on something since last summer. 🙂
Before long, Chris, Jade, and Jenna arrived and began exploring the town.
Jade quickly claimed this stuffed animal.
Playing with a grocery cart seemed to be one of her favorite things to do.
In this photo she is bringing me a piece of fruit.
Going back to her mom and grandma
Most buildings had a mailbox. There was also a post office for mail delivery.
Back to the grocery cart.
A cute little house
From the loft above the library.
Everywhere she went, a grocery cart went with her.
She was unsure about the sliding board at Grandma’s House, but soon asked to keep going down.
2 PM – time for the bubble machine.
“Eating” in the Café.
We stopped for real snacks a few times too.
Grandma teaching her how to use a stick horse.
Playing in the small child area. Of course she had a grocery cart with her. 🙂
Time to put the grocery carts away and go home.
Thanks, Jenna, for finding this place. That was fun.
So sweet. That looks like such a fun place! She sure enjoyed that grocery cart!
I am sure we will go back some day.
What a fun time with the little one. I’m sure her momma, grandma, and great-grandma had as much fun watching her as she had playing. 🙂
Fun for sure – and she is a perfect age.
