Monday, February 10
My sister, Nancy, took me to Hearth and Harrow for coffee on Monday morning (a few days after my birthday). It was fun catching up with her and bring my more-than-a-week-long-birthday-marathon of special events to a close.
I had never been here, but it will not be my last time. It is probably the closest restaurant to us (about 3 miles) and is part of Pleasant View Retirement Community. It is open to the public and a beautiful, quiet location.
Later, after arriving home, I looked out a back window and noticed that the woods was busy with birds. I decided that it must be mating season.
There were even a few robins hopping around looking for worms.
I am thankful to God for a fun and delightful sister and that we live in a countryside where I see lots of birds.
