Cerwin blessed me with flowers as part of my birthday week.

He knows I like flowers in the kitchen – especially in Winter when everything is cold and bare outside.

I put a few small stems in this vase and placed it on the windowsill.

It was a rather uneventful day – with nothing special going on – except an appointment at Costco to check on Cerwin’s hearing aids.

Costco is always fun on ordinary days because there are interesting food samples. 🙂 We didn’t really need anything so I bought a few, extravagant Costco-prepared foods – just because it was my birthday week. We especially enjoyed the meat loaf and mashed potatoes.
