Oh, how I love this yearly date with Chris, Kristen and Deb. It is even better when our Maine daughter, Diane, is able to join us, but that didn’t work out this year.
My restaurant of choice — to help celebrate my birthday week – was Knight & Day Diner.
Chris (daughter-in-love) and Deb (our youngest daughter). We were disappointed that Kristen wasn’t able to join us for lunch – due to a busy day. She and Jere had just returned from several days in Florida the night before. Her nursing paperwork had piled up while she was gone. She promised to join us for pedicures, which were scheduled for an hour later.
Chris’ lunch
Deb’s choice
My Eggs Benedict with corn fritters. I LOVE corn fritters and asked if I could have them in place of potatoes.
Getting pedicures felt luxurious. Notice that Kristen was able to join us.
We had a choice of what we wanted used on our feet. I chose Jasmine.
Just seeing these pictures makes me want to go back. I usually only do this once – sometimes twice a year – so it is a luxury for me and great for my feet and legs.
Foot and leg massage. 🙂
Hot rocks. Oh, yes.
My favorite. The paraffin treatment.
If you know me, you know that neither the red or blue nail polish is mine. I am a bit more conservative and chose French tips.

I had my monthly deep tissue massage the night before. I think my seventy-six year-old body is now quite spoiled.
Good for you! You deserve to be spoiled.
It is good to take care of our bodies. :)
