It was a beautiful Sunday morning.

As a day in my pre-birthday week, I treasured worshipping with our church family and was blessed by the discussion in Sunday school and the sermon from our winter series on spiritual growth.

I asked Cerwin if we could go to McDonalds for lunch as I had a craving for a simple cheeseburger and sweet tea. I love their sweet tea.

He said, “McDonalds”? He thought since it was my birthday week I would want something a bit more special.

“No”, I said, “My special meal will come later in the week.”

He said, “You are certainly low maintenance.” 🙂

We enjoyed an afternoon of watching pre-Super Bowl dialogue. I usually go to bed early, so only watched the first quarter. I was glad I didn’t stay up to watch halftime – by what I saw on the news the next morning. 🙁
