Anthony (great-grandson) and I created a “trucking business” during the few hours he was here each day (we kept the business set up in the living room overnight), plus we did a bit of school in his kindergarten workbook. Nathaniel and Abby are homeschooling him.
Anthony’s fleet of delivery vehicles.
I was the “company broker” – taking orders for the four locations we set up. There was a school, a museum, a farm, and a house (the farm and house are in the background). In this picture he came to the dock to pick up blocks to build a fence at the museum. The owner thought it would be good to have a pen of rabbits for the visitors. The rabbits are blue. He is placing them right behind the tractor and in front of the yellow blocks.
He likes things to drive through and around so set up several bridges. The school is on the left and the museum on the right. The “bridge” behind him is a piece of Cyprus wood my parents bought in Florida – on their honeymoon 77 years ago.
These are matching blocks I stitched for our grandchildren when they were young. When the school ordered a book or the museum ordered a photo, he had to find the space (room) where it matched. As you see, he had already built a rabbit pen and pond with ducks for the school.
When we needed a break from work, we watched his favorite show on TV – PAW Patrol. He loves watching the emergencies and rescues. He was here for a few hours each day and was allowed one hour of screen time on Wednesday and an hour and a half on Thursday (He was here a bit longer that day).
He keeps me young. π
I always find Anthony’s creative imagination amazing. π
He is very creative.
Really like your painted milk can in the background. We picked up milk in them when were younger. Pray that you are both well.
We are doing well. The milk can painting is of the farm where I grew up.
