Sunday, December 1
It was a cold, icy afternoon – the Sunday after Thanksgiving Day.
There must have been something going on in the local Amish community, because we saw more carriages than normal for a Sunday after church.
I love cold, rainy, icy Sundays!
That’s the day my son and my friends were planning to drive home, from PA to N.Y. and N. H. respectively. Instead, after hearing the weather report, they left Sat. I’m glad they did. I flew Mon. and the plane was a bit late getting from Allentown to Philly (where I was.) Then the bridge was not working so those passengers had to sit on the plane while I waited in the airport. I’m guessing they had to de-ice the bridge. I got back to Ft. Wayne over an hour late, but was glad to be home safely. My kids didn’t mind waiting for me.
Glad you got home safely.
